More like he'd be pressured beyond what he wants, to release his BC, school records, passport and perhaps more.
He's always stopped just short of telling us to GFOurselves, and he'd be force to actually say it.
Not yet ... the loop has not been fully cinched on America.

“Hence, the quick back flip. They are looking after their own skin now.”
Now is the time for Republicans to attack. Keep putting pressure on Pelosi, Frank, Dodd, Conyers, Murtha..... Force them to keep making statements in the press.
Obama is sending 21,000 troops to Afghanistan. Keep playing their statements during the Bush years and how Obama is like Bush.

Hold on just a goldarned minute. I thought the meme from the White House was that Obama personally studied and wrestled over this issue for WEEKS before reaching the decision that the photos should be released.
So, what they’re saying now is that all that studying and wrestling didn’t take into account the potential harm that could be done to our men and women in theatre?
Apparently, when Obama studies an issue real hard, he fails to consider everything involved before reaching a decision. That certainly explains his extremely poor decision making skills, doesn’t it?

Fox News correspondent Catherine Herridge reports that her contacts say the core group of 44 detainee photos that the ACLU seeks to have released are not as repugnant as the Abu Ghraib photos.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that Dick Cheney has been waterboarding Zero's approval numbers, especially on national security. Nah, couldn't be - the Ministry of Propaganda has been assuring us that fighting back hurts Republicans.

Well, who knows? Perhaps the pictures will still be released, since he set the wheels in motion, but now he can pose as having done it reluctantly.

It will be amusing, to say the least, to watch the Fawning Media not only give him a pass on this, but actually praise him for making the tough decisions.
A bunch of talking heads are gonna suffer whiplash injuries from the sudden about-face though...

No impact so don't release them. The promise of what they might show outstrips the reality. Therefore, hold them back and continue talking about how horribly the big bad Bush administration tortured poor captured detainees.
