Saw on TV this morning that CA is asking for TARP money (U.S. taxpayer money) to stay afloat. Why not let CA go bankrupt and put it on the auction block? States who have the funds could buy it and perhaps run it more effectively. CA could become “West Texas” or “South Alaska.”

Libs believe that if you raise the tax rate, the only things that will happen is that the money will move out of the bank accounts of the wealthy and into the state treasury. I know several millionaires who have left Maryland. Just packed up and established legal residence in Florida or elsewhere.
