Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Yes. And the Iranian people want to overthrow the Mullahs. They weren't simply demonstrating over a flawed election. This is about a complete change in government structure.

I'm not sure, however, how they will set up a new government, even if they toppled the existing mullah led establishment.

In any case, the Iranians have turned to Christianity in greater numbers than any other Muslim country. Wherever you find an Iranian community in the world, there is an Iranian church somewhere in that community.

The cross must have been visible through the sniper’s scope.

I was going to write something sarcastic about the many freepers that think these protestors just want their OWN filthy muslim dicator in power to destroy America.

But instead, I’ll say a prayer of thanksgiving that it seems this young woman was a Christian, and that she will have her eternal reward in Heaven.

Lovely girl. Wonder how many of the protesters are Christian since there is a huge conversion going on in Iran and throughout the Mooselip World.

Pray for America and the Martyred Church

Is this the only photo being offered up to this debate?

Because, quite frankly, from what you can see in this
picture, it’s not all tthat definitive to me that it *is* a cross. From what I see, it’ could just as easily be three spokes of a 5 or six sided star, or possibly just the end of an even larger piece of jewelry. I am not saying it isn’t a cross, or that there are no Christians in Iran, just that this photo is not a clincher for me, all by itself.

IO retract my opinion. after zooming the pic up 400%. it’s clear that it is not just the visible part of a larger piece, and by the way the weight is hanging, it could not be much larger on the covered part of the piece than what is visible. So, while I still cannot rule out a fifth spike, it seems unlikely, and, as it hangs down, it is likely there is a counterbalancing fourth spike..and like *is* a cross. but I know lots of people who wear crosses, who are in no way believers....I just don’t know.

This explains why she wasn’t dressed in a Muslim Headscarf—she wasn’t a Muslim. We now know what happened to her soul. She was taken to heaven by the Angels , the book of her life swept clean, and she stands in the presence of God. Her killer stands accused and cursed, by an angry God, doomed by his act to a terrible death and an eternity in the Ninth Level of H*ll.

I have tried to access Atlas Shrugs all night and every time, I get shutdown. Has anyone else experienced “crashing” when trying to access this site? Seems to me like censorship from the “guvmint”, as it happens all the time on this website, while I’m able to access so many others with no problem.

Would not surprise me that Neda was a Christian.

What many people do not know is that many million Iranians are discretly Christians! Islam is a violent arab religion imposed upon Iranians.

Many Iranians want to get away from that cult that has been exposed since 30 years in it's most ugly face.

Except for seculars (who remain nominally muslim), who have no strong religious tendencies at all (I'd say the largest group of educated Iranians), there are also millions of secret Bahais and those who'd like a revival of Zoroastrianism.

Officialy it is prohibited (and punished) to leave Islam, and the statistics are cooked by the regime anyway. So until the regime is gone, we won't know for sure how the actual religious make-up looks like.
