The economy is cyclical. If the economy recovers (or head-fakes a recovery), Obama will be extremely tough to dethrone in 2012.
On the other hand, if inflation kicks in and the recovery still looks a long way off, or Obama hoses up any number of other things, a Republican will sail into office.
At Palin’s age, she could easily hold out and run in 2016. If a Republican were to win in 2012, she could be the follow-on in 2020. She’d only be 56...probably still looking great and she’d have all this time to get educated and polished on all the issues.
She should quite simply MOBILIZE CONSERVATIVES!!
- Put some steam into the Tea Parties and get involved organizing real grass-roots events across the country
- Keep working the new technologies (Facebook, twitter, blogging, you-tube, etc.)
- Content is key. She needs to educate the public. She needs to be able to help focus the minds of people who are not up to speed on the facts of our situation.
- Hire the best people she can find in PR, marketing, writers, etc. (better yet, get them to work for free as part of their patriotic duty to save what’s left of the country!)
- MOST important, she needs to keep on pi**ing off the Lefties in the MSM so they continue to spew their venom (it’s the best advertisement ever for her!)

"Stone says the unyielding assault of the liberal media attacking Palin for being homespun, plain spoken, middle class and simple, lead to her decision to repair the political damage. He notes Palin has the most valuable thing a politician can have in presidential politics: she has a favorability rating of more than 20 percent of the American people who say they love her, and more than 60 percent of Republicans.Hehe, great points. Well said!!She has a national political base, Stone says. Mitt Romney does not have that; Haley Barbour does not have that; Charlie Crist doesnt have that. None of the other potential presidential candidates whove been mentioned have that."

This is key. Some conservatives want to sell out to RINOs in the GOP hierarchy. We have the power over the Party, not the opposite.
All we have to do is stand up and make it clear we want a real conservative.
Absolutely. Sarah is a strong conservative with good national name recognition. If she chooses to run, she has my full support. However, I won't support conservatives who have no chance of even winning their own home state. We need to win with a conservative, but a conservative who can make it, not just take it, lol.
