Post it in the religion forum where it belongs.

Spoken like a true liberal. Perhaps this is a good time for you to review JR's statement on FR being a pro-Christian website.

The people that wrote the scriptures in the Bible lived pretty much close to the equator where there simply was no ice. I’m not so sure many people in the area and era even knew what ice was.

If you think yourself better than the *evos* why do you copy what you say is their incorrect behavior?

Do you really think your lies will bring anyone to Christ or do you think it will drive them away?

Glaciers did not cover the planet, but they covered enough of it—proven through glaciation markers still visible today—to have a severe impact on climate worldwide. Also can’t agree that people not living “near” the glaciers wouldn’t know they existed; even at that time, the world was not so small a place that Europe and Asia being half-covered in ice would be unknown in Mesopotamia.

It's fun to see the reaction. And it reveals the hypocrisy when evos do it and applaud and high five each other, and then turn around and condemn creationists for the same thing.

Do you not see their behavior as incorrect?

If you're going to chastise creationists for insults etc, why not evos when they do it? Why the silence to evos when on this very thread, they are insulting others?

Glaciers Can Melt in a 'Geologic Instant'

Does this mean that creationists now accept the geologic time scale?

I think it means they have jumped onto the Global Warming Express.

Because that's what he's here for. To lend support to them. Then asks alot of creationists stupid questions after they've been attacked.

Look at a map. Israel's about 800 miles from this, in western Iran:

It's like 3 times that far from the equator.

That's gotta be one of the least self-aware things you've ever posted--and that's saying a lot. One of the things I respect the "evos" for the most around here is that they don't talk to each other about the other side very much. Whereas the anti-evolutionists are constantly posting trash talk about "evos" to each other and LOLing and pinging each other and so on.

[[I’ve seen a few cases where normal people have surmised all these trolls are only one person, (were you one of them cottshop???)]]

Yep- I thought perhaps at least some of the various names were linked to one person, signing in under different aliases because the thigns said by ‘two posters’ was nearly identicle in nature- I’ve also felt that some folks like Coyoteman, who was banned, have foudn ways to skirt the ban and sign in under different names- especially when I see the same tired out, wholly refuted accusations that they previously posted when they were allowed on FR- Can’t prove it of course, but just thought perhaps some of the various trolls were the same people

Yes, at altitude, as in mountaintops had ice, as in Iran, but again, in the Holy Land it was pretty rare to see it, in fact recently, I saw that it snowed in Jerusalem for the first time in many many years. A snowfall isn’t glacial ice.

Most people didn’t live in mountain tops.

But no, there was no global glacial ice in the era of scriptures as in the case of a global flood.

The glacial age is still upon us. Just visit Antarctica, or mountains over 10,000 feet. You'll find plenty of glaciers just waiting for a chance to grow much larger.

We are in an "Interglacial" period ~ all that appears to mean is that the main icesheet over North America withdraws to some islands in the Arctic, but it'll be back.

Already noted the Sumerians DID know about glaciers. They invented writing so they were the first to describe them.

There was ~ the literature regarding glaciers was, in fact, along the trade routes followed by Abraham and those who followed him.

You can't wander about Babylon and environs without trekking through Sumer.

In Abrahams day the Semites in Mesopotamia ALL used Sumerian to write, and all educated Sumerians could read ancient Sumerian.

People were not as ignorant then as we might imagine, but travel was difficult and expensive. Not everyone could visit the Alps. Yet, we know that the Ice Man found in the glacier along the Austrian and Italian bordeer was, according to his DNA, essentially the same sort of guy as the folks who lived in Egypt in his time some 5,000 years ago.

The Ice Man lived around glaciers. He went up and down the mountains. North African and Egyptian people obviously traveled as as far as the Alps. We have to presume people knew about glaciers even in the Middle East.

So why weren't the glacier stories included in the Hebrew Scriptures? You'll have to ask Moses about that one!

If you know I’m a crakpot, I’m obviously doing something right! Thanks for the validation there confucius.

BTW...reread your post...(I know I had to do a double-take)!

You said: I’ve been running the ‘politics of global warming’ ping...

Anyone could tell you it has nothing to do with ‘liberals’.”

This seems a bit...well surreal to be honest.

IS it that you’re asserting algore isn’t a liberal or that liberals don’t get involved in politics, or that you’ve SERIOUSLY been doing this for 3 years and haven’t, in all that time, understood liberals hijack politics, science and everything else they touch!?

I must admit...you have done yourself wonders here in the sir-project-alot contest with your ‘crackpot’ assertions xcre...ummmmmmm....xcamel.

KUDOS to you!

But you’ve got me interested because the liberal approach to science is precisely what leads to liberals like algore barking at others that “the debate is over” and just shut up and post your carbon credits to his machine because the man has some jet-fuel to purchase sat the next hot air cult convention somewhere (that’ll no doubt be cancelled due to an ice-storm).

Has this once come up in any of your pings/posts? I mean you personally? That “the debate is over”?

And if you saw others post this, did it at all remotely register?

And if it did even remotely register, did it compute with you that the same liberal tactics are on full display with the likes of Chrissy Fit Matthews spewing spit all over the place in coniption fits that he’s a great ape dammit, just not flinging poo (that we’ve seen in public anyway) and evoution is “settled science”?

Seriously Ace...if you’ve been running a ping list on global warming, on a conservative website, I have no doubt liberal has come up more than just a few times. IN FACT I’d imagine almost DAILY, let alone 3 years!

And that’s essentially what polarized politics IS this day and age in this country: conservatism vs. liberalism, Republicans vs. hypocrats, the hinged vs. the un-hinged.

And to some degree polarized politics lends itself to Judeo-Christian values vs. secular humanism and vice-versa.

Backing up...did you even know this is Free Republic x?
