Glaciers Can Melt in a 'Geologic Instant'

by Brian Thomas, M.S.*

Many geological processes can happen much more quickly than is conventionally thought. For instance, mainstream science believes that coal, diamonds, and oil require vast amounts of time to develop, when they in fact can form in under a year.[1,2] Sedimentary rock and fossil formation require only days or months in the right conditions.[3] And broad tectonic plate movements could have (and indeed must have) happened in under a year.[4]

Now the rapid melt-back of glaciers can be added to the list...

ROTFLMAO!!! I mean, that is not just a little funny but really hilarious. These people should be writing comedy for TV.

It's OK ~ this is a different day.

But, again, isn't it cute how the GW fanatics want to scare us with the "threaten coastal populations" stories as if the ocean is going to just rise up and overwhelming them while they are asleep in their beds.

Lack of comprehensiono of the scale of things ~ gotta' fix that first.

You might want to see this. It presents a much different picture than the statists want us to believe.

One of the best, and likely closest to the truth theories ever:

Fountains of the deep

A lot of those GW fanatics live on coastal land. The booty tooth crowd on Martha’s Vineyard would be the first to get swamped.

!!

Time to fire up the SUV :)

I’ve always asked - what melted them? Neanderthal fires? Stone SUV’s??? Fire pits in the Seattle parks (Ok, Seattle wasn’t around then but Mayor Idiot Nickles banned them because of contributing to global warming, or, climate change)

Back at it, eh?

Well, here you go. A fitting post in response to your constant whining.

You've got to realize, GGG, that this is just SOP for some people.

That's a thought. We could eliminate all our enemies, particularly the exceedingly wealthy RINOs and Countryclubbers at one fell swoop of a giant Tsunami sweeping in from Antarctica as all the ice falls into the sea.

Yeah, I like that.

And they're all stupid enough to just stand there while the water rises!

So I guess you think it is OK for ICR, being the good christians they are, to steal an article from science daily, and to pervert it to their own "creationist" ends, then turn around and repost it on FR.

Please, nooo! We have enough bad writing and unfunny comedies on TV now days as it is. Really good comedic writing requires intelligence and a sense of irony. And that would most certainly disqualify Brian Thomas.

Not really ~ the "Fountains of the Deep" has to do with the water reclamation and recirculation system on the vast Mother Ship that brought everyone here from Tethys 9.

You've forgotten that part due to imbibing entirely too much wine and sleeping with those creatures called "the daughters of man".

Oh, yes, how far have the mighty fallen!

(NOTE: My theory is that if you accept one little piece of Genesis as a perfect reflection of history you have to make up stuff to fit it all in, else none of it is no good and you might as well become a Democrat, become homeless street bump, drink Ripple from mason jars, and sleep in cardboard boxes).
