I go to the weather underground web site and they have plenty of globull warming alarmists, but for some reason they are reporting the low temperatures and total lack of storm activity with little or no commentary. Imagine the freaking commentary if we were in a solar maximum right now. But I remember that Gore’s brilliant PowerPoint Presentation, “An Inconvenient Lack of Truth” said we will see a greater number and more intense storms. That was 2005/06. Just the opposite has happened since.
Yep. Joe Bastardi over at Accuweather, one of the best in the 'bidness if you axe me, is forecasting a cold winter for the eastern half of the US. The storm track he's forecasting is what gives us massive ice storms here in SE Tennessee or storms like the one in '93 that dumped 38" of snow here at my hacienda. I've got about 3 years worth of firewood in my crib now and a bumper crop of pretty much everything coming out of my garden this year. I pick up this year's cow from the butcher on Monday. Just put new all terrain tires on my Pathfinder and serviced my backup generator, too. I'm ready.....
