Although I spent most of my time in Taipei, I really enjoyed Taiwan, too. I really enjoyed being able to walk ‘most anywhere at night — and I found the nighttime “street markets” to be a real treat...

I roller skated one Chinese New Year’s eve from Shiang Kai Shek Memorial all the way home on Tien Mou West Rd the long way around by Da Yeh Taka Shi Mai Ya. Loved it. There was very little traffic. I think I got home about 22:00-23:00.
