Your polar star is your guiding principle. The judge was saying that any the decision about any action should be made in the “best interest of the child;” however, one never knows these days what a judge thinks the child’s “best interest” is. Certainly, a male daddy and a female mommy (egad, I have to specify) would be in the child’s best interest.
