Ardi has so much time and effort invested in her/they/it that the hype will continue until everyone involved gets their “peer reviewed and passed” papers published or at least are listed as co-authors.
Once them dry bones have all the academic juice squeezed out then Ardi can be retired until called to service under another name.
But in any event Ardi will go back into the basement locker once a prettier face comes along.
