The Obamites will push for “windfall profits” taxes on oil producers sometime in 2011 when oil moves over $100 per barrel, and that anti-business rhetoric, CO2 regulation, and any actual tax increases will just drive prices higher.
Is there any doubt that if we had signed on to, and adhered to Kyoto in 1998; all the enviro-whackos would be heralding events like these as proof positive that they were right and had reversed global warming. Of course they’d also use that as the reason they needed impose even more restrictions.
