BO went to New Jersey several times but Corzine still lost. It certainly is a referendum on BO and his socialist policies.
I don’t think the NJ election was a referendum on BO, and I live here and grew up here. He loses clout because he wasn’t able to help his guy, but it wasn’t about him.
No. If Corazine and other Democrats has won, it would be a “Great Victory for Beloved Leader Obama.” Since they lost, its is not referendum at all and goes into the new black hole.
