All MSM networks gave surprisingly generous time to the story of today’s march on the evening news, considering the developments at Ft. Hood. PBS did the best job. The visuals were good, and the crowd size was obvious. They had many interview snippets with attendees. The main problem I saw with the coverage is that all covered the arrests and left the impression that the “protesters” were ours, not Code Pink or whatever they were.
There was a nasty looking frowning woman wearing a PRO-LIFE shirt, whose picture was on at least two of the broadcasts. My bet is she was a plant.

One thing I thought was really amusing and ironic that hasn't been mentioned: "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who was a BIG hit with the crowd. Whoever decided to use that for warm-up music is a genius!! Patriots were shouting the chorus! "We won't get fooled again!" HA!

The crowd at the House Call Teaparty filled probably 1/3 of the shaded area, on the west lawn that resembles a baseball playing field. That would suggest 30-40K, right? I guess it doesn't really matter that much, but it's fun to try and guess (unless someone flames you for your effort). . .
The mall was not filled from end to end. The first one is NOT FOR THE 912 RALLY!!! It’s a false one that was circulating via email and posted here several times. Take a close look - it’s bright and sunny. The day of the 9-12 rally was overcast. There are megascreens in that picture. There were no megascreens on the Mall that day.
100,000 was my estimate that day and remains to this day. Your LIES AND FAKE PHOTOS not withstanding.

He finally got through and asked the lady that answered the phone if she had been busy. She told him “No, the phones have been quiet today.” I think that was the last straw for him. He told her he kept getting cut off and he was on a quest to cancel his membership because he didn’t want to be a part of anything that supported this health care plan. She told him she would tell the “higher ups”.
Looking at the map, we easily filled up a quarter of the “240,000” shaded block in front of the Capitol steps. That puts us at 60,000. And then we were heavily scattered on the north and south bulges.
Plus, Cindy_True_Supporter was at the Muslim pray in and they were inside the walk area, and they were estimated at 50,000.
