Yes, the media made all efforts to hide the name, photograph and religion of the terrorist. Once the name came out, they made it a point to state that he was a “convert” to Islam. That was revealed as a lie and that he was born of Palestinian immigrants and was raised in Islam.

The media made an all out blitz stating ad nauseum that he was an army psychiatrist and didn't want to go back to Iraq or Afghanistan (they didn't know which one, though) and had some kind of stress disorder. Can you imagine the reporting if the killer was a white male Republican?

The double standard allows fanatical terrorists to grow in hate without being challenged, and when they actually hurt someone, the double standard finds excuses for them.

I can’t understand how this guy made it through the screening process to become a psychiatrist. From what I understand, you need to become a medical doctor FIRST. Then, you need at least 4 more years of medical training to become a psychiatrist. I know that doctors commit murder, but I’ve never heard of a shrink going that far.

...in the military, soldiers get punished for bigotry all the time -- except for this guy.
