I'm never giving in. There isn't much the GOP could have done to stop it in the House, Still, 39 Democrats bolted from their party. That is big. And there are lot more moderates in the Senate where they have a great deal of influence. A filibuster can and will be mounted against any bill like the House version. And any bill that does pass the Senate will have to be renegotiated in conference with the House. Its not at all clear if House liberals will settle for less than a complete government takeover of the nation's health care system.

No they didn't the Democrates had as many votes as they needed so let the others save their Jobs for 2010, or at least they think so anyway. When people see what is in this POS and realize what it will actually mean to them on a personal basis the s*** will hit the fan. However their are lots of people that will be happy about this. Remember ... ever mind we'll just have to wait and see what will transpire.

I think people are forgetting after committee it goes back to both houses for a vote. Next time around the progressives are going to be mad is my guess. The Pelosi almost 2000 page bill will never pass the Senate.
