BEIJING – President Barack Obama says he's worried that spending too much money to help revive the economy could undermine a fragile U.S. recovery and throw the economy into a double-dip recession.

That's when the economy begins to recover briefly from a recession only to be dragged back under. Obama told Fox News in an interview Wednesday that his administration is weighing tax breaks that could encourage businesses to begin hiring again.

Isn’t this like a guy shooting his neighbor and then saying, “Hey, buddy, you’re bleeding.” ?

Really gives me confidence in the quality of Ivy League schools.

I hope he has time to squeeze in a trip to the DMZ.

That's when the economy begins to recover briefly from a recession only to be dragged back under

That "recover briefly" part? Strictly due to the enlightened policies of Barack Obama! Yee Haa! He gave us green shoots!!!

That "dragged back under" part? Well, that there is the long arm of Mr. George W. Bush. [/s]

Can't even conservatives see this old DemoLiberal lie threaded into ObamaSpeak?

Obama was expressing why he is cautious or hesitant to offer the tax cuts. Let me translate, “We would like to offer tax cuts to small businesses (and everyone else for that matter) but we have to be careful because we need the money we are taking from them and would have to borrow it if we don't take it from them. We are definitely going to SPEND it, the point is do we take it from people NOW in taxes or LATER in taxes.”

Raise taxes to lower the deficit..resulting in a downturn in the economy...then spend stimulus money...resulting in higher deficits..then raise taxes.....

He propose raising taxes on the rich and corporations. Because to him it is not a spending issue. It is revenue issue.

If tax breaks are a good idea now, why weren’t they a good idea back in January? The truth is Obama doesn’t give a damn about other people losing their jobs. Now he’s worried that his cronies in Congress will lose their job, and eventually he will lose his job. That’s why it’s only now that he starts caring about jobs.

Your pic is so appropriate.
It is amazing how often Barry mentions ice cream,
goes out for ice cream
( despite hating ice cream )
or uses terms associated with ice cream.
When Barry announced in Japan that he was the First Pacifier President ,
he also “ charmed the audience with his memories
of a childhood visit to Japan with his mother,...–
but recalls being most interested in consuming
the “matcha” green tea ice cream.”
