***What about El Nino? Does anyone remember that?***
Back in the 1990s El Nino was the rage! One 1990s Novermber Kansas and Nebraska had a snowstorm as they have often had at that time of year.
Our local news chick stood out in the weather with a look of absolute terror on her face and said... ‘The question that is on everyone’s minds, IS THIS EL NINO?”
I wanted to throw a boot through the screen but it wasn’t my TV.

"Stupid" volcanoe pingLOL! Pesky things, those volcanoes!
I wonder how the carbon credit futures market is doing.

He said observational data from lake sediments, coast lines and trees show sea levels have remained stable.Well well well. If sea level had risen even a little I think we would have heard about it. They might have noticed it in Holland. Or Venice Italy. Or the Seychelles. Maybe New Orleans even.
Professor Ian Plimer, from the University of Adelaide, claimed carbon dioxide from volcanoes rather than humans is driving warming as part of a natural process.
I'm glad you don't believe in AGW, professor, but how do you explain this?
There is no greenhouse warming. Period.
No Smoking Hot Spot
1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it. Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.

What? Global warming? Caused by the Earth's sole source of heat? No effin' way!!! ;') Thanks hennie pennie.

LOL! First dragster barbeque I ever saw.
We look out our front windows at Mt St Helens. I sure wish one of these scientists was right about a volcano or the sun warming things up cuz it was 12 degrees at 7 AM on our patio this morning. I just can’t live like this, I’m a fair weather guy. :-)

Gee, if science considers sources such as the Sun and Volcanism, it also is nicely consistent with those fundamentalists who believe God might actually be in control of such things. Go figure.

I always had my suspicions that the sun was responsible for global warming, I’m glad these honest scientist guys agree, I feel vindicated.
Now the dishonest scientist guys will have to explain how man invented the sun, so they can say they told us so, that man was guilty all along.

There’s really a nuclear furnace in the sky? Really? Must be pointed in the wrong danged direction...

“carbon dioxide from volcanos...driving warming”
I though that sulfur dioxide from volcanos made for global cooling, as witness our weather for several years after Pinitubo in 1991, ie, 500 year Mississippi flood from snow melt. Oh, well, I guess the two will balance out.
