Well ... there may be some evidence that the Sun provides warmth -- but the science on that is not settled!

Yeah but they can’t put a tax on the sun can they? ;-)

What could the sun possibly have to do with our planet’s temperatures? That’s such an absurd idea!!! Next thing you know some idiot will claim that water can make things wet.
To: SeekAndFind; All
The question is does the lack of sun spots and hence cooler sun signify a delayed response of the typical increase, or is this the beginning of another Maunder or Sporer Minimum and generally cooler temperatures over time. Since there has appeared to be an 88 year cycle, the next sun spot maximum could rival the maximum of the Dust Bowl/Depression era with more heat from man made causes. On the other hand a continued sunspot minimum would be a major change. Tune in for an exciting/unpredictible future.
Whether we go hotter or cooler, let’s all save energy and get out from under the thumb of the Muzzies, Nigeria, and Venezuela; and save our own hard earned money.

scientists who said otherwise were lying. Scientists lie. Mark that one for the record!! (Lots of room for self-named "scientists" to say otherwise... and prove it. Silence is complicity.)

more use should be made of the "H" word: global warming HYPOTHESIS
Hypothesis: a proposition, or set of propositions, set forth as an explanation for the occurrence of some specified group of phenomena, either asserted merely as a provisional conjecture to guide investigation (working hypothesis) or accepted as highly probable in the light of established facts.

It is past time for legitimate, ethical, intelligent, hard working scientists to rise up and defend their life’s work.
Watching those charlatans at UEA CRU will tarnish many reputations for decades.
Much like priests who have been permanently damaged by a few perverts.

We shall see. How bad do the world's greatest banks want to make a huge profit for doing nothing over the next ten years or so. Of course those in the UN must fall in line if someone of absolute power tells them to simply back off for a few years. And those who represent given nations say, zero, will simply fall in line, have their speech writers hand them plan B, to voice their crapola during the conference.

He said observational data from lake sediments, coast lines and trees show sea levels have remained stable.Well well well. If sea level had risen even a little I think we would have heard about it. They might have noticed it in Holland. Or Venice Italy. Or the Seychelles. Maybe New Orleans even.
Professor Ian Plimer, from the University of Adelaide, claimed carbon dioxide from volcanoes rather than humans is driving warming as part of a natural process.
I'm glad you don't believe in AGW, professor, but how do you explain this?
There is no greenhouse warming. Period.
No Smoking Hot Spot
1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it. Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
