What I don't get is the fact that liberals in this country support, through action or inaction, the workings of these people.

The liberals in this country prefer to support a worldwide regime which wants to drag us all back to the middle ages.

And they complain because conservatives show a slight fondness for the 1950s.

I love your comment about the Conservatives and the 1950s. Really. Which raises this question with me:

if you were to choose, which GOP would you prefer: that of the ‘50s, or the present one?

(assuming that there are significant differences in political thought and action, that is - and I am in Holland, so I can learn from a reply)
