I am just shocked (and even impressed) that statements such as "the imperfections of man" and "the limits of reason" was spoken by a left-wing man in front of all these European elitists who probably believe in manmade utopias! Okay, so Obama did not mention acknowledgment of GOD in his speech and GOD's control of fate. In fact, I think he outright contradicts it somewhere...

ah yes, he says "we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice." -- eh, not prisoners maybe, but we are definitely under God's Sovereignty and ultimate control over history.

Probably his usual speechwriter passed out from the strain and pressure, and he had to bring in a different one to do this.

Rush played a montage of Obama using the word “I” 30 times during this speech.

I noticed that in the paragraph preceding this excerpt, he cited Ghandi and MLK's non-violent approach but both of them had studied Jesus Christ's non-violence. As a Christian, he has yet to witness to his faith. Heard him praising Islam several times this year.

In this speech Obama was speaking directly to the fleeing independents back home, and them alone.

As I understand it, he more than made up for this slip-up, by acknowledging our nation's mistakes and apologizing for them yet again.

The word imbecilic comes to mind.

I hadn't realized how fitting the word actually is. Here is what I found.

im⋅be⋅cile  /ˈɪmbəsɪl, -səl or, especially Brit., -ˌsil/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [im-buh-sil, -suhl or, especially Brit., -seel]

See images of imbecile

–noun

1. Psychology. a person of the second order in a former classification of mental retardation, above the level of idiocy, having a mental age of seven or eight years and an intelligence quotient of 25 to 50. Wow!

2. a dunce; blockhead; dolt.

–adjective

3. mentally feeble.
4. showing mental feebleness or incapacity.
5. stupid; silly; absurd.
6. Archaic. weak or feeble.

Origin:

1540–50; earlier imbecill < L imbēcillus weak; -ile r. -ill by confusion with suffix -ile

Does that fit this guy to a tee, or not...

Okay, where is the real Barack Obama and what have you done with him? He may be a total lunatic, but he's OUR lunatic! In case the ransom call comes in, tell them we don't pay ransoms — you can't keep him — but we don't have anymore money to pay it. Being a total incompetent, he spent it. Just don't try to foist some impostor on us.

Here’s a shorter version of his speech: “I, I, me, I, me, me, I, me, me....”

"Make no mistake, there is evil in this world."

Yes, BO. That's what we've been trying to tell you!

Yes, it is truly amazing that he can even read a conservative thought without his tongue turning to flame.

I suspect the teleprompter is getting spanked right now.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Strange coming from Obama. He talks peace and the joys of diversity(muslims) following Ft Hood and speaks war, accepting the Nobel peace prize?
Anywho, call me ‘noided out, but I don't think this means what it appears to mean....

I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people. For make no mistake: evil does exist in the world. A non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler's armies. Negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda's leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism -- it is a recognition of history; the imperfections of man and the limits of reason.
That ought to teach the Nobel committee leftists a thing or two -- yes, Obama *will* piss all over anything and everything. And, they all deserve one another.
