Kind of hard to believe that with all the mapping and research done in the Caribbean this is the first time we came across this.

This city - this entire civilization - was clearly wiped out by global warming caused by their insistence in burning fossils fuels in their SUV’s and not adopting a “cap and trade” policy.

Clearly. I'm sure AlGore will back me up on this.

I don't believe this, sea levels have only been rising since the evil white man capitalist started putting out the deadly CO2 poison 150 years ago.

You really don't expect us to believe sea levels can rise and climate can change naturally do you?

I believe in America today, 1 in 4 mortgages are “underwater”. But it appears that in some ancient cities, the situation is far worse.

At what depth? ... There is a deeper ruin in the Black Sea, IIRC.

That looks just like an aerial shot of the San Fernando Valley in LA County.

I’m going to read the whole article, but I find it hard to believe that you can get pictures this sharp and detailed while looking through 2,300 feet of sea water.

The top just looks like artifacts from saving images in small file sizes. The bottom... so the water is THAT clear we can see such details on the sea bottom through hundreds of feet of water.

the city could be thousands of years old; possibly even pre-dating the ancient Egyptian pyramids, at Giza.

I bet they'd find a statue of Helen...Thomas, that is...

Nothing new. Back in March and April of 1966 the major newspapers had several articles about sunken cities “found” off the coast of Peru and Chili.

Nothing was ever mentioned about them again.

Looks like a giant computer chip. Maybe they'll find "Intel 8088" written on it somewhere.
