Obamas Recycle Ornaments from Christmas Past (They VANDALIZED them!)

"We took about 800 ornaments left over from previous administrations, we sent them to 60 local community groups throughout the country, and asked them to decorate them to pay tribute to a favorite local landmark and then send them back to us for display here at the White House," said Mrs. Obama.

Rose from the Quinn & Rose radio show supposedly mentioned this. IMO, it is a travesty to DESTROY historic items from previous Administrations. This is disgusting. When my mom told me about this I was furious.

Artists design ornaments especially for White House Christmas trees. I can’t fathom why anyone would do something like this. Maybe they can send out old china sets next. Have people paint all over them. What knuckleheads in the White House.

Considering how many decorations must be in storage, I’m not sure this is worth getting overly excited about in the grand scheme of things. I don’t know why they wasted people’s time, energy and supplies to recycle ornaments unless the ornaments were damaged.

Do “really” and honestly think ANY of the original White House Christmas tree ornaments were “damaged” ... until the “local community organizations” (state-run day-care/propaganda centers) colored them with stick-on local day-glow drawings.

My neighbor designed an ornament during Bush 43 1st term. She was honored to do it even though she didn’t care for the president at the time.
