A US government agency on Tuesday issued a tsunami warning for countries bordering the Caribbean sea, after a powerful 7.3 quake rocked Haiti.

Note that the epicenter is 10 miles SW of Port Au Prince, which is not in the ocean. This may lessen the the chances of a tsunami.

I’ve been there many times. Just thinking how far above sea level old San Jan is by Cristobal and El Morro. Pretty high,yes? The rest of the island would seem to be more at risk.
