Headline links to this article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_massachusetts_senate that doesn't even address Brown running for President. Drudge is an idiot.
I thought that was stupid as well when I saw it.
Since when are Drudge’s headlines limited to what anyone else considers to be news?
Please give me a F’n break I have even seen some people put up Romney/Scott 2012....REALLY??? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
Not likely. The Constitution says the president and VP have to be from different states.
Let Brown try his hand in the GOP primary. Why not? Palin, Brown, Romney, Pawlenty. Let ‘em all go at it, we’ll see what happens.
Palin 2012.
He talks very well without a teleprompter.
By 2012 he will have been in the US Senate for longer than Obama was.
So unless he doesn’t want it, it seems logical he would be considered a prospect as of tonight.
He sure looks like a guy that might make several shortlists for a GOP VP alongside...your pick.
It couldn’t be that Matt Drudge is making fun Obama who was asked as a newly elected Senator if he was going to run for President, could it? Geeez folks, just were have so people been?
Whatever...that is not at all the intention of my reply. If ANYONE thinks that Romney can be the front runner to win in 2012 then we might as well stick McCain right back in there!!!
Not likely. The Constitution says the president and VP have to be from different states.
It also says that the pesident is to be a natural born citizen!
The local election played out against a national backdrop of animosity and resentment from voters over persistently high unemployment, Wall Street bailouts, exploding federal budget deficits and partisan wrangling over health care.
Nice try AP. Partisan wrangling over health care is missing the point completely. With a 60 vote majority, who is doing the wrangling?
Obama is no match for him when it comes to one-liners and sparring.
The pick-up truck line was one of the stupidest things I ever heard ODummy say.
Dan Quayle wouldn't live that down in 250 years.
Anyway, I predict big time face time for Sen. Brown. If he doesn't do anything too stupid, he's set.
Hey, what are the chances lightning could strike twice in Mass ? We finally got someone to the right of Gary Studds, Barney Frank and the Swimmer as a Senator from Mass. That’s good, let’s leave it that way. I like him right where he is.
When I saw the headline, I assumed it was a jab at BHO.
The the community organizer who becomes a state senator, then a US senator, who attended the Senate for less than a year before running for POTUS.
Maybe Drudge should have put a “ /S “ after the headline (it would have been even more of a zinger).
Clearly, this is Drudge poking fun at Zero for running for president as a freshman Jr. Senator coming off a stint as a state senator. He’s drawing an analogy here and using humor. I think it’s quite clever.
Say what?
