“Im getting a feeling that maybe temperature controls water levels in the air, not the other way around”
Yeah, I noticed that too. When I put a tea kettle on the stove, the vapor doesn’t come out until I apply enough heat!
And they have the audacity to call themselves scientists!
Sheesh!
Let's say the many billions of square feet of rice paddy doesn't exist. Then, we invent rice and the rice paddy and plant rice all over the place. We flood the land where we plant rice. That water is allowed to evaporate over a broad expanse of land where it would previously have been concentrated and run down the sea in streams and rivers.
If we plant more rice we send more water into the air. if we plant less rice we send less water into the air. Depending on the period of flooding we provide more or less time to the termites who live in the rice fields to make methane!
Ignoring CO2 completely, what happens by expanding the amount of water vapor added to the air, and what happens with those termites. I am sure the effect on the climate from those two items far exceeds CO2.
That Gaia is just so smart!
Clowns are as clowns do.
