Part of the same fault that hit Haiti?
Completely different plate, plate boundary, and type of fault. The Plantain Garden Fault that caused the Haiti Earthquake is a Strike-Slip fault caused by motion of the Carribean plate against the North American Plate; it runs from the Dominican Republic to Jamaica.
This earthquake is along the boundary of the Cocos Plate where it is subducting under the North American Plate, along the Mexican Pacific coast.
However it does seem as though there has been an increase in quake activity around the world. Next, watch for some big volcano to blow it’s top.
If the President were to appoint an earthquake Czar and Congress were to approprate several Trillion $ we could stop this crap .
It’s Bush’s fault.
I just heard this. It's not an earthquake!
IT IS THE STAMPEDE TO THE U.S. BORDER!!!!
