If algore were squeezed sufficiently tightly, the same material would shoot OUT OF BOTH ENDS ! ! ! and it ain't brains...
Speaking of glaciers, I stood on a hill in WEST TEXAS and examined huge glacial striations in the rock. A glacier had gotten that far south! We had nothing to do with the end of the ice age.
I guess I was watching with blinders on.
Any fool knows man had no effect on the climate that far back in time.
But I see your point, half the US voted for Obammy.
Growing up in the anthracite coal region of NE PA I used to find neat fossils of tropical trees in the culm banks . That meant that it “was a JUNGLE out there “ where now we get mucho snow .
You don’t have to go back 73,000 years.
2000 years ago, Death Valley in California, the hottest part of the US, was a Lake, a Lake that had been 500 feet deep.
The Great Salt lake was 1000 feet deep 15,000 years ago.
Sea levels were 200 - 350 feet lower than they are today only 20,000 years ago (when New York City was buried in a mile deep glacier).
Anybody who believes SUV’s can change the earth like any of the above changes in the past 20,000 years is a coplete idiot.
My question is...... what are you doing drinking milk at 9pm?
You did something with Kahlua, right?
There is a series called “How The Earth Was Made” that goes arond the world and explains how certain natural wonders like the Sahara, Yellowstone, the Marianas Trench etc. were formed. They always talk about all the climate change over the history of the Earth and then at the end manage to say something about man-made climate change is occurring so rapidly that it will cause major problems going forward.
My wife and I always laugh about how for 4M years it was natural climate change, even up to the time of the Little Ice Age, but now it is all our fault.
Actually, you don’t have to squeeze him to cause that to happen. Just hand him a mic.
Complete idiots who vote.
I would pay cash money to see that ... can we get it televised.
“We were in New Zealand and were walking up a trail to see the Fox Glacier. There was a sign that said [IN 1850 THE FOX GLACIER WAS HERE] Now there was grass and bushes there. Farther on up the trail there was another sign that said [IN 1750 THE FOX GLACIER WAS HERE] More grass and bushes. We continued up the trail and eventually we got to the Fox Glacier.”
Not to be nit-picky, but if you were walking up the trail, wouldn’t you have reached the 1750 sign first? Otherwise, it implies the glacier GREW between 1750 and 1850 rather than having shrunk steadily over the centuries. Am I missing something?
btt
Ran out of Rum.
Had to drink somthing to help me sleep.
I watched the program last night and also noticed the climate changes documented in stone. I told my wife, “See, man had nothing to do with those. It is no different today”.
I am also reminded of the frozen mammoths in Siberia that died with flowers in their mouths. SUVs had no part in those sudden and drastic climate changes either.
Climate change may indeed be happening, but the cause is forces beyond our control. Radical environmentalism is a tool of Communist control.
Right I did report that backwards. Sorry. I am also not absolutely sure of the dates, mine were approximately what they said. I could have missed by 5 or 10 years. But it was at a time where I had just started to pay attention to global warming talk and it was a big eye opener for me. Man could not have been responsible for GW like algore was saying.
cool - i didnt know of those. Diving below 125 feet is a bit unnerving for me.
Since when do you think logic, reason, and evidence will convince a liberal that he’s wrong about one of his pet issues?
What’s he going to “care” about if you take away that issue?
How is he going to feel good about himself for “caring” if you take away his issue?
This can’t be true. GodGunsGuts has assured me that the world is only 3,000 years old.
So toss this analysis right out!
;-)
I stand corrected.
Whats he going to care about if you take away that issue? How is he going to feel good about himself for caring if you take away his issue?
Dude! The psyche of a liberal in a nutshell. Very well said.
