My wife and I watched that program also. Of course, we saw it in a different light than you.

The “scientists” blamed the extinction of the animals on human inhabitants of the island. And, they made a point of highlighting the return of the iron deposits from the Sahara if the CO2 levels in the atmosphere keeps rising. However, they conveniently skirted around the issue of what caused the cycles of global warming in the past... Just more proof of pseudo-science and politics, if you ask me.

Also of great amusement to my wife and I, was the number of times the narrator could say “Blue Holes” in one sentence. We made a drinking game of it; Everytime he said “Blue Holes” twice in one sentence, we took an imaginary shot of rum. Three times in one sentence was a double-shot.

I guess I was watching with blinders on.
Any fool knows man had no effect on the climate that far back in time.
But I see your point,half the US voted for Obammy.
