We are actually still in an ice age.

We are technically in an interglacial period in this current ice age. When this ice age ends, it will get much, much warmer. Average interglacial periods are about 11,000 years. Typical glacial periods last around 100,000 years if I remember correctly. Ice age/non ice age cycles are much longer...

So we’re going to be looking at Gore style global warming after all, but not for reasons that Gore knows anything about.
