Looking good for Bill Flores, winning Brazos handily and holding his own in McLennan.

Just keep Perry over 50%.

I certainly hope so, so that we can be done with this part of it.

Hutchison’s career in the Senate would seem to be over. She doesn’t want to run again in 2012 does she?

I think she does. She was too chicken to resign her seat to run, so I think keeping her seat was the backup plan.

Just keep Perry over 50%.

Amen. KBH not satisfied with getting richer as senator, thinks we owe her a governor spot yet.

Good grief, I hope not!

Since she promised to step down after the gubernatorial race, I would think running for another term in '12 would hurt her.

I hope it would, anyway.

I'm hoping we can get some good conservative to run for and win that Senate seat. We have plenty of them in House seats and some state seats right now. (Ted Poe and John Culberson immediately come to mind, but there are some others...)

“On the Texas forum there are a lot of comments about how there are no dem voters and lines of Republicans.”

Depends on where you are - I voted at around 4:30; I was the FIRST to vote in the GOP primary in the whole precinct.
