Ed Rendell: Fox marshalling anger

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell on Monday said that Fox News has been more effective than the tea party movement at building anger among the conservative grassroots.

During an interview on “Fox & Friends,” the Democratic governor asserted that the tea party movement has been successful because “the mainstream media, the media all over the country, has given them too much credit.”

“They're really sort of following the anger rather than creating the movement,” he said.

Challenged by hosts Gretchen Carlson and Steve Doocy over the claim, Rendell directed his criticism directly at Fox News.

“You guys deserve more credit for marshalling that anger than the tea partiers do,” he said. “I’m being serious. And I think it’s your right to do so.”

Carlson then interrupted to insist that “we're just showing both sides of the story.”

Ed, that's what happens when one of the media actually tells the truth about our traitorous president and his administration.

People get angry!

Fox is not making me angry...assholes like Rendell are.

Exactly. The real issue here is that Rendell prefers media outlets who keep their viewers in the dark about what the government is really up to. His true feelings are 'what people don't know won't hurt them'.

Just more of the ssdd attack on non-leftist entities. They’ll try to eliminate Fox News on the false basis of ‘hate rhetoric and inciting violence’. Next, they’ll target websites like this one. In the end, they’ll make it so that white conservatives won’t be able to afford cable OR the internet....even while giving cable and dsl as freebies to their black constituents. They’re already giving them all cell phones.

I keep asking.....

pitchfork time YET?????

Rendell ought to look in his own state where the black panthers were intimidating voters with bats.

C’mon, guys! Not only is “Fast Eddie” not worth a moment’s ire on anyone’s part, he is utterly laughable to the rest of us who do not live in Pennsylvania (home to some of the most beautiful outdoors in all of North America).

The only people who need feel anger at Gov Rendell are residents of the Keystone State who have to endure his big-city corrupt liberal Philadelphia politics. They’re just as bad off as those living in mostly rural Illinois who are under the hamfisted rule of Chicago tyrant Richard Daley Jr, who isn’t even governor!

Fast Eddie is nothing but a puffed out harrumphy laughingstock gasbag!

Watch, chuckle, and enjoy!

He also claimed that there were only about a thousand people in the Tea Party movement. The guy’s nuts.

Pennsylvanians would be better served if Ed devoted his time and attention to the problems facing the Pennsylvania State government and left this sort of broad pontificating to the opinion professionals.
