Yes, these exist in England for criminals aged 15-20 at the time of conviction (17-20 for women). He will be transferred to an adult prison at the age of 21 (22 in some cases). They aren’t much different from adult prisons, they just have a higher staff/prisoner ratio and compulsory educational facilities.
