Some plugs need to be pulled fast in Washington or we will not have an election in 2012.

“Given Obama’s record, I’d vote for Newt in a minute; morals and all.”

You won’t get the chance. He is un-nominatable. RINO, Obamadiplomat Jon Huntsman has as good a chance as the aging (70 in 2013) , overweight, nebbish (who has never found a position that he didn’t compromise). Oh, and did I mention that he is a lackluster campaigner, who would never be able to match the breakneck pace Palin would set for him?

Stick to writing history books, Newt. Leave the making of history to those of firmer constitutions and wills.

my b/f (a recovering lib) keeps insisting to me, that if Obama’s people go down in flames TODAY, that they will find a reason to cancel the 2010 midterms.

And he’s in Chicago, so he knows how they act!

*biting nails*

NOTHING Newt did (was alleged to have done) trumps the “Reverend Wright” flap....NOTHING!!!!

To criticize Newt for anything is a flimsy disguise of the standing approbation ALL Liberals have for talented, experienced, intelligent and politically adroit Conservatives!

Where criticism of Conservatives is concerned, Liberals are the boy in the forest who cried ‘WOLF” too many times.

Nominating (with “O”) the least vetted (actually, ‘unvettable’), least experienced, least credible, MOST populist candidate they could, Liberals forfeited forever all right to criticize ANY other candidate Conservatives propose.

Think Newt should be very much a part of the Repub Washington ‘Advisement’ scene; just don’t think President is where he should be - nor will he most likely be. That said; would certainly support him in a heartbeat if he were our nominee.

Newt’s time has passed. He would never be able to get the GOP nomination in 2012.

He may be the most intelligent of the current crop, but no thanks. Too much baggage.

Then it would be open civil war. We had federal elections during the last one. What could justify cancelling the midterms?

“And he’s in Chicago, so he knows how they act!”

We have seen an increase in the pace of terrorism attempts. Rahm says never let a good crisis go to waste. A serious, successful terrorist attack could provide cover for “postponing” elections.

I think it’s a stretch, but not out of the realm of possiblity.

What really bugs me about that photo,, is how she is all leaning in towards him, like she’s actually kind of into him. If they were in a bar, he could take her home. That bothers me,, no wait, it creeps me out. Why is she attracted to him? Why is he on the sofa,,,,

Sooooo many disturbing questions.
