CBS: George W. Bush to Blame for Divorce Al and Tipper Gore
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Michael van der Galien

Good news! Even though George W. Bush was succeeded as president by Barack Obama 1.5 years ago, our beloved left-wing mainstream media are somehow still able to blame him for just about every ill in the world. No kidding, they’re even holding him responsible for the announced divorce between former vice-president turned global warming warrior Al Gore and his wife Tipper. I know what you’re thinking, “that doesn’t make sense! How in the world can Bush, who has nothing whatsoever to do with the Gores, be responsible? Did he seduce Tipper, or something?”

Why, no:

On Tuesday’s CBS Evening News, with the help of the Washington Post’s Sally Quinn, Sharyl Attkisson managed to blame news, that Al and Tipper Gore are separating, on how they never got over being denied the presidency despite winning the popular vote in 2000. If only Bush hadn’t taken it from them.

Attkisson recalled “it’s been ten years since that oddly public passionate kiss at the Democratic convention. That was followed by Gore winning the popular vote for President but losing the electoral vote. Family friend Sally Quinn says that may have done the marriage irreparable harm.”

I actually thought Algore would blame global warming - or in this case, maybe ‘cooling’.

I suppose it is hard to be married to such a genius that is never wrong about anything. He invented the internet after all. Got the Nobel prize for lying, too, I hear.

Could it be that Tipper finally got religion and couldn't stomach being married to the biggest (literally) cry-baby-blow-hard, chad-whore, snake-oil-scam-artist?

Sometime 9 million doesn't even buy enough personal space to fill the emptiness....

funny...George HW Bush is still married to Barbara after the death of their child and, yet, Gore can’t handle losing an election...nice character

How to say this without getting banned...So after the election was "stolen", Al stopped "saluting the flag??"

“GEORGE BUSH drove me to drink-———and I forgot to thank him!”

Reminds me of the WC Fields joke about his first wife driving him to drink. That was the only thing he could thank her for.

LOL!! Is there no end to the stupidity and zero credibility of these networks? They continue to make fools of themselves—hence, no one watches!

Don’t forget that the book Love Story is actually about him also. At least according to him (Gore) it is. But wait, Tipper didn’t die.
