Did not feel a thing, thank goodness. Quakes scare the hell outta me. Weird how I did not feel it here(In West LA) but people in Northridge felt it..I guess it just depends on where you live

Eighteen aftershocks.

This event was supposedly an aftershock from the 7.2 quake on April 4.

We lived through the ‘94 quake just a handful of miles from the epicenter. Ever after that, when one would happen at night (the ‘94 one was early, still dark on that January morning) I would awaken with my heart racing. I know a few people died of heart attacks from the ‘94 quake. Hope everyone in the San Diego area is ok!

Good God!

I didn’t feel, but I know I will be up the next 30 watching the devastation on TV. Please pray for me!

There isn’t anything even in Brawley.

Will any CA FReepers please leave CA immediately.

You aren't appreciated there anyway, and you're just holding up Judgment.

2 killer quakes coming up, 1 of them probably USA west coast within 45 days.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

It was a very gentle, slow rolling one.

It was also felt at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, but it wasn’t bad enough to scare people or stop the game - Angels vs Brewers.

I live in San Diego and used to go riding a three wheeler in that area of the desert quake. Then the BLM made most of it a wildness preserve around there and the nearby mountains. I guess so the illegals could die in peace during summer heat while crossing into the US.

The border patrol has done more damage in a protected wilderness area with their constant patrolling of the known ‘immigration’ paths and roads and by dragging a chain link fence to smooth the dirt and sand to observe foot prints and tire tracks. I hike the area occasionally now in the cooler months and the area is a disaster more than it ever was when it wasn’t wilderness area i.e. foot paths, more dirt roads, trash, water stations setup for illegals, catus/plants rolled over by the chain link dragging.....sad really.

House seems to be doing a bit of creaking still. Can’t feel anything moving but definately hear frequent settling sounds in the walls.

An earthquake has rocked Southern California, shaking the Los Angeles area(...)

What wonderful "journalism". Don't these apes understand that "San Diego" != "Los Angeles Area"?

Now, as luck would have it, I'm in Anaheim right now for a conference. I crashed in bed at 9 PM due to having very little sleep the night before, but I had no idea there was an earthquake until logging into FR right now.

What DID wake me up - and must have happened at the same time - was Mickey Mouse's nightly fireworks. I think the mortar launch site is on the roof of the hotel right above my room!

We didn’t feel anything here in Phoenix this time, but the last one shook us up even up here. Hope all is well!

We live in a suburb of Philadelphia and my husband felt a tremor last night. I didn’t feel it in another part of the house, but he said that the glasses in the dish drainer clinked together. Very weird. I’m glad that we’re not in CA where we would have anticipated more activity.
