Is this the New Madrid Fault?
One use of Twitter - when it happened, I went to Twitter to search for the term ‘earthquake’ to see if anyone else felt it. And boy, did they.
I guess it was a real quake afterall.
Didn’t feel it here in MI.
I didn’t feel a thing here outside of Cleveland. Both the katz are still asleep.
Out west all the Minuteman ICBMs went into PIGA Leveling.
I bet all the crews on Alert had a good time!
I felt it in central NY - my house shook for at least 30 seconds then to a lesser degree for a shorter period. It was strong enough to be scary. Can’t believe it was from something so far away.
Felt it bigtime here in Toronto, I actually got a little ticked off, I thought workers were screwing around.

Birth pangs...
It’s because of the oil spill.
Why can’t a big quake hit DC....right where the capital building and white house sits...?
Just sayin’
How long until we have “I Survived the Great Quake of 2010” T-shirts?
There’s the largish one in Canada . . . I doubt that one’s big enough to have been felt in Baltimore.
Seems like they are quite slow in putting anything up for Ohio etc.
I live in Toronto - and I certainly felt it - the room shook, my computer monitor actually swayed back and forth - and my rabbit (upstairs) began thumping loudly and madly to show his fear. It lasted approximately 15-20 seconds. When I stood up, I swayed in concert with the waving room. I did hear a sound precede the shaking, sort of a muted growl. I thought there had been an explosion outside, then realized it was an earthquake - so very rare here.
