I don’t understand why GM went with electric drive. Why didn’t they just re-invent the Toyota hubrid so it got even better mileage?

If I wanted a gas/electric drive I’d by a locomotive.

40K for an electric car...ffffttt!

I thought it did have a gasoline powered “sustainer” generator to add more than the 40 mile electric only range?
