AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Rush: you overlook the gas powered engine which powers the battery, allowing the Volt to achieve a range of 300 miles.

I found a good, efficient doctor today. I hope I can keep her. She may not have the best bed-side manner, but she thinks and she listens...

Hi, CC! Just outta curiosity, I did a quick check to see how much horses are going for...

Horses for Sale in NYS

I'd buy a horse before I'd buy some dang overpriced electric car..

Well, that’s more than I can say of the majority of the doctors I have encountered lately with my aunt. All these so called doctors want to know is how can they most efficiently kill her.

I have two radios at opposite ends of my living quarters. At a couple minutes before the top of the hour, his show went dead on both, nothing but static. Did this happen to anyone else (Chicago area).

Since Rush had just finished talking about how Obama now has the power to shut down the internet, I thought some fascist was behind a curtain somewhere in DC shutting RUSH down.

Li-ion batteries are not as durable as nickel metal hydride or nickel-cadmium designs,[citation needed] and can be dangerous if mistreated. They may suffer thermal runaway and cell rupture if overheated or overcharged.

In extreme cases, these effects may be described as “explosive.”

Furthermore, overdischarge can irreversibly damage a battery. To reduce these risks, batteries generally contain a small circuit that shuts down when the battery moves outside the safe range of 3–4.2 V.

When stored for long periods, however, the small current drawn by the protection circuitry itself may drain the battery; normal chargers are then ineffective.

It's allegedly a “Catholic” hospital. Pffft. We had to ASK them to give her food. She's in a semiconscious state, but not fully awake. Can't eat anyway b/c of the respirator and her O2 stats. After THREE DAYS, we finally got the doctor to give her an NG tube. He said, “Are you sure that's what you want to do?” Dad asked him if she was terminal? The doc said, “Oh, no, she could bounce back any time.” Dad told him he wouldn't agree to starve her regardless!

I asked the doctor if he was aware that he was working in a Catholic hospital, and one that is very tied to the Catholic church. Blank stare. I am livid! Three times they have asked Dad to alter her living will/DNR requests. I told them the next time there was a question, we would bring our attorney and several news cameras, just so we could make a permanent record of what her wishes were! I could scream.

I’ve apparently picked up a fungus from one of those adopted kittens. (Likely ringworm). It was not responding well to over the counter and suddenly spreading. (Fat man in the sauna of Memphis syndrome.) She also noted while talking that my asthma is acting up and is trying something newer and better for it. This is the first time she has seen me.
