Prohibition of drugs currently turning Mexico into a model of the USA during prohibition of alcohol early in the 20th century...is there a lesson to be learned here?

Right. And the legalization of drugs wiill sole the problem. You are as bad as the nagic wand theorists who belive that just by waiving a magic wnd, all problems will be solved.

Social engineering is a liberal trait. Drugs are not prohibited in the USA, they are prescribed as medicine. You want to allow our population to become lethargic, and escapist. China and its historical deatruction by opium is the true example of the legalization of such drugs.China now hasn’t got much of a drug propblem, chronic abusers and dealers are executed, they learned their lesson the hard way.Why should we?
