Things have gotten really bad down there the last few years. I don’t even like going down to El Paso anymore. Plus some of the checkpoints on the freeways within 50 miles of El Paso are really 1984ish.
I don’t go to El Paso anymore either and I HATE the checkpoints. They leave us alone but they have harassed my sons and the other day the harassed my granddaughter because she didn’t know what year her car was. They stopped abruptly when they saw that her father spoke up from the passenger seat.
I didn’t know that about El Paso and the checkpoints, I don’t live in that region anymore.
What is going on at the checkpoints that is new?
