Fiorina listed as a (D)

that’s probably accurate in principle, but technically wrong since she is running as (R)

Scott has not stared a tv campaign yet...The dem is all over tv..

Yep. She surely is.

And running really really hard to put distance between herself and 0bama while making Scott appear loopy for attacking 0bama and "ignoring" Florida.

As if 12% unemployment, lousy schools, home values less than 50% of what they were 5 years ago,(Orlando Sentinel ran a piece last week on how home prices are equal to 1998 prices in the state), higher insurance premiums, lower investments and 401K plans are all some local fluke of karma and not a result of Dems and their Reader-in-Chief.

I don't like either candidate for FL Gov, but Sink used the “Fundamentally Transform” phrase in her victory speech. We are screwed if she wins!

Marco Rubio (leads Gov. Charlie Crist & Rep. Kendrick Meek but when the negative campaigning from the Crist & Rubio camp, it's possible that Meek will get a nice bump and maybe even split the double team.

“Yep, Fiorina is miles away better than Boxer, but make no mistake, Fiorina is a total RINO and in some ways she could be considered more dangerous.”

Why do you say that? In all her stated positions Fiorina appears to be solidly conservative whether it’s Abortion, Guns, States Rights, Goverment size/spending, Obamacare, etc, etc, etc.

One thing I never hear is “Fiorina is a RINO “because.....” I haven’t heard it here either......

Carly was born and raised in Texas to a conservative family.

You speculate that Fiorina will form a voting block with Snowe/Collins. What leads you to believe that?..... Because she is a woman? lolololol....

An idea expressed in many threads here is that we should “Beat the Rats, then purge the Rinos”......

In California, we are focused on firing Boxer. The primaries are over and Fiorina is the Republican Candidate opposing Democrat Barbara Boxer. Posts like yours are disruptive to the overall objective of beating Boxer.

2016 is not that far away for Fiorina.....plenty of time for her to prove her conservative credentials one way or the other.....if she can’t/won’t, there’s the next Republican primary election.....see above.....its a matter to be determined by California voters not you!

brownsfan needs to pay attention to his own Ohio Senator George Voinovich.....May I suggest you hunt the proven RINOs in your own backyard before you chase imaginary ones in other states?

Obadiah is obviously ashamed of his/her state because his/her “About” page has no entry...... like sitting in that catbird seat don’t ya?

“The outright hatred for Carly is deep in California’s tech community, and will continue to damage what was an emerging GOP “independent small business” image.”

The Tech Community in California is unabashedly Liberal....What else did you expect?

As a fellow Republican physician in Florida I agree with all your points.

The Tech Community in California is unabashedly Liberal.

Not all of it by any stretch, and I speak from personal experience. The conservatives I knew at HP couldn't stand her.

Fiorina would likely form a voting block with Olympia Snow and Susan Collins.

Perhaps, but remember that even Snow and Collins voted against Obamacare - and even if repealing Obamacare is the ONLY thing we can get done, it will be a grand start. It's a cinch we won't get ANY conservative votes from Boxer. I'll take a RINO over a radical lib any day.

“Not all of it by any stretch, and I speak from personal experience. The conservatives I knew at HP couldn’t stand her.”

No, not all, but a vast majority are liberal. The HP people I know didn’t like her either, the result of group think fostered by the BOD led palace coup who were themselves fired after firing Fiorina.....lololol

I think that the dislike for Fiorina was not politically based, but rather opposition to her vision for taking HP out of its moribound stupor post the bursting of the high tech bubble. It is interesting to note that subsequent HP CEOs have continued the general course Fiorina set HP on, and that HP has regained it’s former stature in the HT Industry.....she gets no credit here at all....

While all this is interesting and subject to gossip and interpretation, it has no bearing on what Fiorina will do as a Senator.....she has no governmental political experience/record for either of us to judge her by. Condemnation/name calling (RINO) at this point is pre-mature at best.

For now I’ll take her at her word when she articulates conservative positions on the various issues challenging our nation. Time will certaintly give witness to the veracity of her words......As I have always said...the next election is not that far away...... election to political office does not make one a “sacred cow” for the rest of a politicians life.....meet expectations or I’ll vote you out!

Scott had better get his money pouring into the AD;s around here as I have not seen any yet.
We cannot afford a Dem Gov as it is the Govt which will appoint judges, redistrict etc.

Hell we are so frigging screwed if Scott loses and not only that but was the polls saying this before he won?

agree and I voted for the AG.
I knew this crap would happen if he won and now it is.

This state cannot afford a pro homosexual, pro abortion, pro spending, pro union Gov .
We are so frigging screwed right now and Scott had better getting spending his millions on AD’s right now because I have not seen any by him.

I just hope scott didn’t bring too much baggage in his medicare crap

agreed
his money bought all the air time and all he ever did was to attack the AG, now what should have been a sure win is now looking like that we could lose this important position here in FL.

I am so frigging pissed, we should have been getting a republican AG, Gov, and senator

Despite Fox News’ reputation as being pro-conservative, their polls tend to be pro-Democrat which makes these even more heartening.

That primary was so nasty it didnt matter who won. Polls showed both McCollum and Scott trailing Sink because the independents became so disgusted with both.

And now McCollum and his supporters refuse to endorse Scott. So the GOP is going to lose this election.
