DNC Outraises RNC in September

The Democratic National Committee has raised more than $16 million in September, its best fundraising month in a congressional election cycle that has proved to be challenging for Democrats in every way but financially. That's $6 million more than the Republican National Committee raised in September.

With Election Day four weeks away, party spokesman Brad Woodhouse said the new fundraising numbers suggest a growing enthusiasm among Democrats. That's an emerging argument from party strategists who are eager to counter polls that portray Republican voters as more energized and eager to vote in this election.

American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS, two related groups created at the direction of top GOP strategists Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie, have reported raising a combined $32 million this year, including more than $14 million in just a 30-day period in August and September.

Probably true because republican supporters are funding candidates directly and NOT going through the RNC. We don’t trust the RNC.

This is so 20th century.

Our side has figured out that we can fund candidates DIRECTLY and are doing so very effectively, thank you very much.

Yep. I am a conservative who will not give a frickking red cent to the RNC, and have not for years. I donate directly to candidates that I vet, not the RNC who gives it to candidates who are more like Arlen Specter than Jim Demint.

Do you remember the two weddings? ( Clinton vers Bush ). They sum up the whole difference between Republican and Democrats. Republicans know the power of money and how to spend it to do the most good. ie send your donation to the candidate of your choice instead of the RNC. Democrats send donations to the DNC in greater numbers than to candidates.

Clinton's spend 5 million on a wedding, Bush family spends approx 200k. Bush family understands that its not what you spend that proves you have wealth. Clinton's don't.

The only thing democrats know how to do is spend wealth, at least most republicans know what it takes to create the wealth in the first place, and husband it accordingly.

My mother is a very large republican donor. She will send money to Dino Rossi every time he sends a request, and he is not the only one. She is now in her late 80s and although she is slower than years ago, she keeps her head in the game as to who to support. She always told us to ceate money you have to save, watch what you spend ect.

I always knew Obama and family had no idea how wealth was created, and their vacations proved it. They have the democrat ideology, spend someone elses money, you can always tax for more.
