Dem's hippie ad: 'Does not support Pelosi...voted with GOP 65% of the time' (Votes Dem 88% of time)
Politico ^ | 10/13/2010 | Ben Smith

As Democrats in conservative districts scramble to distance themselves from the national Democratic leadership, Georgia Rep. Jim Marshall outdoes the rest with what's a cultural attack ad aimed at contrasting him with Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"Georgia is a long way from San Francisco," drawls the narrator, over images of dancing hippies.

"Jim Marshall doesn't support Nancy Pelosi," says the narrator, citing a finding that Marshall voted with Republican leaders 65% of the time."

Marshall a similar figure to the one Rep. Bill Owens, an Upstate New York Democrat, did yesterday, making a similar claim. By another measure, Marshall voted with Democrats 88% of the time.

Marshall "worked and ovted against Pelosi's trillion dollar health care bill," brags the narrator, adding that he was endorsed by the NRA, Right-to Life, and the Chamber of Commerce.

"They wouldn't have anything to do with a Nancy Pelosi suporter," the narrator concludes.

Jim Marshall sure votes like a hippie: Voted for Obama's failed stimulus program, Fannie/Freddie bailouts, tons of wasteful spending...and votes with San Fran Nancy Pelosi 65% of the time on economic issues...

This is the 2nd ad that claims “65% with Republicans.”

Obviously these were meaningless votes, naming a post office or recognizing a hometown hero... and such.

How did he vote on Cap and Tax, Obamacare, FinReg, and the Stimulus. That’s all you need to know.

Well, a counter ad needs to be run by this liar’s opponent - it’s odd to see so many of these fake “blue dog” democrats try to pretend they’re republicans, but at the end of the day, that “D” next to their names on the ballot will still be there on Nov.2

I do not care if a candidate voted 100% with Republicans (which I doubt even a Republican could claim), the fact they are a Democrat gives the Democrats a chance to remain in control.

The way the system works is the party with the majority sets the agenda.

I will not vote for a Democrat in the forseeable future.

Sorry...we’re in a war for America’s soul, if you wear the enemy’s uniform, you’re the enemy...and you must be voted out. You should have thought about that before you put a (D) after your name.

Geez, with all these Dems who voted AGAINST Obama and Pelosi, how did Obamacare pass?

Remember: (Pelosi on Obamacare) “We need to pass the bill so we can find out what’s in the bill”

How did he vote on that one?

Short of how scary the Democrat Party really is…is almost funny.

In Blazing Saddles style the Black guy joins the Klan, and is shocked when he finds out they want to hang someone; thinking he is exempt.

If a Democrat says it, count on it being a lie.

The Democrats had such a large majority, they could allow many 'Blue-Dog's a pass on those votes.

Had their votes been needed, they would have voted in line with Pelosi.

He voted no on that, but yes on a lot of other Pelosi-garbage bills.

“...being a lie...”

“For those looking for security, be forewarned that there’s nothing more insecure than a political promise,” as stated by Harry Browne

When you knowingly have sneaks, cheats and liars as your friends, beware, although they may have not stolen from or burned you, they have not gotten around to you yet; and eventually will.

All one has to do is pay attention to their actions, not what they say.

But that only represents 153% of his votes.

Of course he’s a Dem.

Did you ever imagine two short years ago that by the next election, democrats would be tripping over each other to claim they mostly voted republican?

Of course, apparently 60% of the votes in the house were procedural, unanimous kinds of votes where everybody voted the same way.

So the real question is, in votes where the republican majority and democratic majority voted the opposite way, which way did a person vote?

I don’t care what he says his voting record is he is a democrat and ALL democrats lie, cheat and steal. They are not our friends, they are the enemy of the Constitution and the Republic. The same lies came out of the piehole of POS Ben Nelson here in Nebraska and a lot of really stupid and/or senile republicans voted for him.

FUBO
