There was a primary this time. GOP "kingmakers" didn't place anybodies name on the ballot.

He lost a fair primary then decided to play spoiler. Hoffman was in the wrong this time and I’m done with him. He’s no better then the Princess in Alaska.

Hoffman lost his last election, even though the republican dropped out. Yes, she endorsed the democrat, but Hoffman had already said she was essentially a liberal.

Now Doheney could have won, but Hoffman waited until after his name couldn’t be removed from the ballot before he “endorsed” Doheney, so he drew votes from Doheney and gave Owens the victory, much like Dede did last year.

Note to GOP: Stay far away from Hoffman.

Note to local Conservative Party king makers: Endorse someone who can also get the Republican Party nomination.
