Show birth certificate, or don't get on ballot (Eligibility storm clouds on horizon for Obama)
WND ^ | NOVEMBER 17, 2010 | Bob Unruh

A Texas state lawmaker has filed a bill that would require candidates for president or vice president to show their birth certificates to the secretary of state before being allowed on the ballot, and the measure could become effective as early as next year if adopted and signed into law.

The move by Rep. Leo Berman, R-Tyler, renews the threat to a second Oval Office term for Barack Obama that was posed last year when the state House in Arizona actually adopted the requirement, but the session ended before the Senate acted.

Berman's legislation, House Bill 295, is brief and simple:

It would add to the state election code the provision: "The secretary of state may not certify the name of a candidate for president or vice-president unless the candidate has presented the candidate's original birth certificate indicating that the person is a natural-born United States citizen."

It includes an effective date of Sept. 1, 2011, in time for the expected presidential campaigning for 2012.

Hope OUR governor signs this one. Arizona passed such a measure but the governor there refused to sign.

That action was immediately followed by Obama’s tiff with Arizona’s illegal immigration measure.

Barry plays by Chicago rules.

For the third year in a row, I have to admit that I still cannot understand why none of the excellent conservative pundits nor FOX news has totally avoided this issue. It should have been a slam dunk. I mean, we’re on Nobama on so many things, but this whole topic has been avoided TOTALLY by Rush, Levin, Hannity, Coulter, etc. NONE OF THEM HAVE LENT A SINGLE WORD IN THIS CAUSE EXCEPT AS AN OCCASIONAL JOKE. Why have they completely and deliberately avoided this fundamental issue? What gives????

They should say that the birth certificate will be available for review.

I think there must be something on there that is embarrassing.

Maybe his father is listed as Arab instead of African.
That would be embarrassing.

At this point they are busily forging one.

My recollection is that this person predicted that Arizona would be the state to do it, but I could be wrong.

Arizona legislature already passed the measure but the governor refused to sign.

So what would prevent him from presenting the bogus COLB and where in the law does it say that would not be accepted? Too many loopholes, if you ask me.

I hope this trend spreads quickly throughout Republican controlled states. Obamao will not be on the Texas ballot, should this become law.

Parents were married in a small private ceremony after she was already pregnant. He was still married to his first wife and subsequently married two other women. Maybe the certificate did not list them as married.

Barry admitted in his own book to possessing a copy of the form (he said he found it among some papers).

Obama’s lawyer had a meeting with the top executives at Fox, a large talk radio network, and 3 other news networks (not CNN, I know. I’ve got my notes somewhere...) The lawyer, acting at the behest of Soros, Axelrod, and Rahm, told the executives that their company would be harassed out of existence through investigations after the election if they reported on Obama’s eligibility, or included anybody on their shows who discussed it. The executives then basically told their on-air personalities that their careers, their health, and potentially the lives of them and their family members would be jeopardized if they said anything about the issue (the threats were over very specific subjects, including the birth certificate, Indonesian records, oath of loyalty, etc).

Doug Hagmann and Judy McLeod of Canada Free Press reported on this after receiving on Dec 10, 2008 a signed statement from one of the talk show hosts saying that these threats had been made and after doing an 8-month-long investigation which netted corroboration including statements and hand-written notes of the meeting by the administrative assistant who arranged the meeting and typed up the communications. The letters to the on-air personalities were distributed in October of 2008. Another threat was made sometime after the election as well.

So that’s why the silence. The thugs have been busy.

Certainly, a certified official bc, but they need to be official validated and confirmed as natural born citizens, which I believe may include more than just the bc (especially when those can be dummied).

There are some loopholes I would like to see closed. Does anybody believe their state has what it takes to pass even more demanding legislation, or have the legislature, governor, and attorney general that would be willing to take on the criminal activity surrounding Obama’s cover-up?

Is anybody from Kansas reading this? If so, any insights you might have regarding the potential in your state would be fantastic - preferably by Freepmail. =)

When or IF Obama’s birth certificate is shown, it will either have no name listed under the father,Frank Marshall Davis as the father....or something VERY embarrassing on it.

Just my speculation...

This won’t work because it’s being brought up by Americans and we all know that in the U.S.A........ Americans don’t have standing.

Actually, this will be fun to watch play out.
