>I hope people wake up and realize that the democrat party doesn’t just need to be out of power, it needs to be destroyed. Pursued with RICO cases and totally destroyed along with the academic infrastructure they’ve built with tax money over the past forty years.<
I have maintained that the democratic party is dead and has been for a while. The socialists took it over because they were most ideologically aligned with democrats. But truly the democratic party now is nothing more than the socialist party that could never get elected under that particular banner.
The problem is that people like McCain who was questioned on his eligibility was complacent in his failure to demand that Obama undergo the same senate approval of eligibility he had. Republicans should have challenged this from the beginning but did not.
Even now, McCain would probably be granted standing if he challenged this in court. So why doesn’t he?
He is the only one who probably can have standing at tis point. I was very dissappointed in him after being such a war hero to have caved into such an obvious enemy of our country. What happened to his oath to protect and defend?
I know, I'm not a shrink and I don't know the guy personally, but I think he's far more fragile when it comes to some types of confrontation than he realizes himself. So, I think I know why he fails and fails in a way that probably even baffles him. If you watch his reactions during the debates in 2008, I think you can see a touch of what I'm talking about in the way he first would attack, then seem to almost shrink when put in the position to continue the attack rather than accommodate or recant.
McCain should have held a series of appointed rather than elected positions. Had that been the course he followed he'd probably be a respected figure in conservative circles. As it stands now, he's at best a disappointment and at worst treacherous for having saddled us with things like McCain/Fiengold.
