Huckabee draws contrasts between him and Palin

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said he hasn't decided whether he'll run for president, but thinks people should be paying attention to him.

"I just don't understand how it is that a person can read these polls day after day and the narrative is constantly everybody but me," Huckabee told Politico.

"Whether I do it or not, the fact is that if one looks at the overall body of information that's available, nobody would be in a better position to take it all the way to November."

Huckabee also drew a contrast between the attention given to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, with whom he shares a base of support among religious and conservative groups.

Huckabitch is getting a little more pouty than usual.

Can somebody get Frumm or Graham to give him some attention so he'll shut up?

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

> Contrast is easy: Sarah has a set, Huckabee doesn’t. Nuff said. ;-)

Multiple sets, in fact, depending on what department of the anatomy you're talking about... :)

Wasn’t he the guy directly responsible for the deaths of 4 or 5 Seattle-area policemen?

Why is anyone even thinking about supporting him after that?

That picture alone should disqualify him...not to mention the tax hikes, the excessive pardons and the appeasement of illegal aliens while governor.

I personally have narrowed my short list down for 2012 to about four or five I would find quite acceptable; in that would be Ambassador Bolton or Governor Palin.

It goes without saying that Huckaphonee has long since been eliminated from that last. I don't want that two-bit, washed up, vaudvillean, snake oil salesman anywhere NEAR the GOP nomination. Same goes for Willard.

As the stage holding up the Huckabee family for this photo collapsed with a large beeecraack sound, the photographer was heard to mutter "Vertical stripes or no vertical stripes, those poor dumb, fat bastards!"

You got that right.

2008:

Mike “God is Green” Huckabee: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1964686/posts?page=86#86

*
Steyn on Huckabee: “...Where I part company with Huck’s supporters is in believing he’s any kind of solution.

He’s friendlier to the teachers’ unions than any other so-called “cultural conservative” which is why in New Hampshire he’s the first Republican to be endorsed by the NEA.

His healthcare pitch is Attack Of The Fifty Foot Nanny, beginning with his nationwide smoking ban.

This is, as Jonah Goldberg put it, compassionate conservatism on steroids big paternalistic government that can only enervate even further “our culture.”

So Iowa chose to reward, on the Democrat side, a proponent of the conventional secular left, and, on the Republican side, a proponent of a new Christian left.

If that’s the choice, this is going to be a long election year.

re: In ‘08, he split the Conservative primary votes with Fred Thompson, with that strength, and that left us with mclame.

Exactly! And I recall that during the primary he spent more time attacking the conservative candidates and letting McCain off the hook. Huckabee knew he was going to lose and so starting sucking up to McCain hoping that he would get selected to be McCain's running mate. He is pretty slimy in my estimation.
