Why bother? I see hundreds of flights pass over every day out here in flyover country, and many of the contrails look quite strange. The little kids like to look at them, but beyond that it’s kind of of a dog bites man sort of story. Too common to be that remarkable.
To prove your point. If it's so common you should be able to do so easily. I have also seen thousands of airplane contrails and have never seen one that made me think it looked like a missile launch for even a moment.
