What they’re saying is that the horizon is lower. On land it isn’t possible but they’re talking about a horizon made of ice.

Personally I’d be thrilled.

Yea I finally read all the way down the page. I would be thrilled too and not complain. I’m all for global warming(yes I know it’s not man made). Maybe our winters wouldn’t go from nov. to april with 250+/- inches of snow a year.

Actually, it is. There are 47 peaks in the NH White Mountains that are 4000' or higher. About 30 years ago, there were 46 of them. What happened? Well, one "grew". The only surprising thing here, completely unexpected the the present day vernacular, is why (or when?) do the Warmists not claim that AGW is responsible for making the peaks rise in New Hampshire?

Horizon changes on land are possible! The Great Lakes areas are rising due to slow rebounding from all the Ice Age weight which pressed that area down. Nothing.... NOTHING is static on earth! Except a liberal’s mind.

I hope spring arrives here in MI sometime around January 24th.
In fact, I might just burn some tires to hurry it along.
