Right. The math is easier when you assume a sun-centric system, but that math does not prohibit an earth-centric system.

So yep, it is still scientifically correct to say that the sun rises in the east.

In fact, you can work out the math to show that the entire universe revolves around YOU. Or me. Or anyone else.

But the simplest math shows that sun orbits the center of the galaxy, the Earth orbits the sun, and we crawl on the Earth...
